There is a non-refundable 50% standard commission down payment due upon commission acceptance. Some specialty commissions may be deemed to require full payment (100%) before the commission is started.
After commission is completed and received by customer, if there is any issue please contact me as soon as possible to rectify any issue.

Yes, each stem starts from rod stock and is sanded and filed down and then polished and fit to the briar with extreme precision.
No, I do not typically do filters on any of my pipes.

My existing backlog of pipes currently has my turn around time of 1 to 2 years. This is subject to change and variable based on pipe shows.
I have straight grain, cross cut and what we use will determine your pipe shape, look and feel so a detailed discussion about what you’re looking for will allow me to choose the best block for your commission.
I have a limited amount of Bakelite available for stems. Because of the scarcity as well as its nature of being harder to work on, it will increase the cost.
